Procter&Gamble hires people on the autism spectrum
Since April 2022, the asperIT team work closely with Procter&Gamble to prepare the company’s employees and deliver a training and recruitment programme for people on the autism spectrum to enter the data analytics field.
- Selected employees and managers have received the necessary training and workshops to prepare them to work with people on the autism spectrum.
- We jointly recruited people on the autism spectrum for a training and recruitment project.
- We have delivered specialist workshops for people on the spectrum on social and communication skills, as well as Scrum training and logical thinking training using Lego Spike Prime.
- We prepared adaptation sheets for all recruited candidates to create the best-fit working conditions for them at P&G and to help managers better understand the needs of the neuronetworker.
- We ran a 12-week tutoring support for managers and people on the autism spectrum, who had taken up an internship with the company, to support all individuals in finding their way in their new work situation.
- Together with P&G, we ran an online and social media campaign informing people about P&G’s collaboration and efforts to create neurodiverse workplaces.
