The European Foundation for Social Activation (EFAS), operator of the asperIT project – a leader in the Polish market in activating people on the autism spectrum to work in IT – is seeking candidates fora paid internship in the position of a fundraiser (fundraising specialist).

The offer is addressed primarily to young people, preferably students, who would like to learn the ins and outs of this profession.

The person in this position will take part in:

  • creating the foundation’s fundraising strategy;
  • creating applications for raising funds from national and European funds;
  • accounting for the foundation’s current target grants;
  • building a plan for the creation of the foundation’s endowment;
  • internal auditing of projects implemented with domestic and European funds;
  • creating relations with the foundation’s donors.

The qualities we are looking for in a candidate:

  • creativity;
  • good manners;
  • communication skills;
  • ability to deliver presentations;
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Docs;
  • ability to write.

The asperIT is an innovative project and a Polish market leader in the subject of training people on the autism spectrum to work in the IT industry. During the three editions of the project, the foundation has released dozens of qualified software testers into the job market.

As part of the internship, we offer:

Recruitment for the position is a three-step process. In the first step, we invite the candidate to an online interview (via Google Meet). Those who make a good impression during the interview will be given atask to complete to assess their creativity, current skills, and fundraising potential. Those who best complete the assigned task will be invited to a meeting at the foundation’s office (in Wrocław) to discuss details of potential cooperation over the course of the internship.
