What is the asperIT project?
We empower people with Asperger’s Syndrome and those on the autism spectrum to work in the IT industry as software testers.
What is our goal?
– prepare for working as a tester
– enable people to take up an internship in the IT industry
– create a real chance to gain employment in the IT industry in the future.
Who are we looking for?
– people with autism spectrum disorders
– from 16 years of age
– able to participate in classes in the area of Wroclaw
– who like working with computers and are interested in the IT industry
What do we offer?
– classes preparing for the role of an employee (training in social skills)
– participation in a training course preparing for work as an IT tester
– taking the ISTQB
– internship in a professional company dealing with IT software testing
– possibility of finding employment on the job market in the IT industry
– making new friends
– friendly atmosphere
– support of experienced tutors during the whole project.
There is no remuneration for participating in the project.
