Yesterday the 5th Lower Silesian Civic Congress took place.
Once again, representatives of non-governmental organizations, along with representatives of the public sector, met in Krzyżowa to debate together, as well as to expand their knowledge.
The event was attended by, among others:
– Wojciech Kaczmarczyk, Director of the National Institute of Freedom – Center for Civil Society Development
– Cezary Przybylski – Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship
– Jacek Sutryk President of Wrocław
– Jan Jakub Wygnański, President of the Social Innovation and Research Workshop “STOCZNIA Foundation” in Warsaw.
Our foundation and the asperIT project, as well as our partner and co-organizer of the Congress, the Umbrella Foundation, was present during this important event for Lower Silesian NGOs.
It was a day of valuable meetings, intense discussions, and debates. Its uniqueness was highlighted by the opportunity to celebrate the 30th birthday of the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe / Stiftung Kreisau and the 15th birthday of the Lower Silesian Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations.
The European Foundation for Social Activation (EFAS) wishes the organizations that celebrated their milestone anniversaries yesterday much success and all the best!
