We are pleased to inform you that the first software development edition of asperIT in Wrocław has already started. This is not a typical asperIT edition. Instead of testing, for the first time, we will focus on another IT specialty, namely software development. If you want to learn to program in Python, this is your opportunity!

asperIT allows everyone with an autism spectrum diagnosis to start a career in IT.

Planned schedule for participants in the asperIT edition in Wrocław

After the online recruitment period, the best candidates will be invited to individual interviews held in Wrocław. Afterward, we will select a group of up to 24 people who will take preliminary IT tests to examine the candidates’ IT competencies.

From those invited, we will select the best 10, who will begin their social training cycle. Through them, the group will get to know each other and learn to better understand their own qualities and teamwork. They will be led by Jacek Śmigiel and his team. Śmigiel has been involved in differential and functional diagnosis and therapy of children, adolescents, and adults with holistic developmental disorders for 15 years. In 2015, he co-created the social training methodology for the asperIT project. He manages a team of tutors in the project.

Social training will be followed by a series of technical training sessions. This will be an intensive software development course lasting up to 4 months. In the course of the training, participants will learn the basics of working in the Python language. At the end of the course, the best beneficiaries will be given the opportunity to take part in professional internships that will give them their first real software development experience.
